Rembrandt and his pupils - papers given at a symposium in Nationalmuseum, Stockholm, 2-3 October 1992

Practically every large museum in the world today has had a number of its "Rembrandts" de-attributed through the work of the Rembrandt Research Project, which of course moves one to ask: How have all these important works of art, by which scholars have been duped for centuries, actually come into beind, and who were the - apparently not altogheter negligible - artists who painted them?

Papers given at a symposium at Nationalmuseum Stockholm, 2-3 October 1992.
